Invoicing available · AEAT submission in early 2027
Verifactu invoicing, simple and compliant
Issue your invoices with the chained hash, QR code and VERI*FACTU legend required by the Spanish regulation (Real Decreto 1007/2023). On the web, or from your online shop through the API.
What you can already do
Full and simplified invoices
With your own series, saved customers and a form that totals up as you type.
Corrective invoices and cancellations
Corrections by substitution or by difference (R1–R5) and cancellation records, always without breaking the chain.
IVA, IGIC and IPSI
Mainland and Balearics, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. Exempt and non-taxable items, reverse charge and foreign customers.
Chained hash and QR code
Each record is chained to the previous one by its SHA-256 hash. The PDF carries the verification QR code and the VERI*FACTU legend.
Email delivery and payments
Send the invoice to your customer, record the payment and let e-papelito send reminders for overdue invoices.
Several issuers
A property manager can invoice for several owners, each with their own certificate, series and logo.
Verifactu deadlines
- 1 January 2027
- Corporate income tax payers (date in force under Real Decreto-ley 15/2025).
- 1 July 2027
- All other taxpayers, including the self-employed (date in force).
- Early 2027
- Submission of records to the AEAT switched on in e-papelito, after testing in the AEAT test environment.
In October 2026 the Spanish Treasury announced a postponement to October 2028 that has not yet been published in the BOE. Until it is, the 2027 dates apply.
Submission to the AEAT, your way
Records will be submitted in VERI*FACTU mode only (immediate submission). For each issuer you will be able to choose:
- your own digital certificate, stored encrypted with your account's key, or
- a power of representation at the AEAT so that we submit the records on your behalf, without sharing your certificate.
Public responsible declaration
As required by Orden HAC/1177/2024, the responsible declaration of the invoicing system is published for every version.
See the declaration →Your records, always yours
Records cannot be changed or deleted. You can export all your invoice PDFs and the complete record chain at any time.
Security →Questions about Verifactu
Can I use e-papelito if I invoice in the Basque Country or Navarre?
No. These territories have their own systems (such as TicketBAI) and Verifactu does not apply there; e-papelito works in VERI*FACTU mode only.
Are my invoices valid until submission is switched on?
Yes: invoices are issued with all their requirements and their records are chained. Submission to the AEAT will be switched on before the obligation applies.
Do I need a digital certificate?
For submission you will need your certificate or a power of representation in our favour at the AEAT. You do not need one to issue invoices.
